Eligibility Criteria
1. Educational Qualifications
Candidates must have:
- Passed 10+2 with Mathematics and Physics and at least 50% aggregate marks, OR
- Completed a 3-year diploma in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical/Automobiles/Computer Science/Instrumentation/IT) with 50% aggregate marks, OR
- Passed a 2-year vocational course with Physics and Mathematics as non-vocational subjects and 50% aggregate marks.
Note: Candidates appearing for their Class 12 exams in 2024-25 can also apply, provided they meet the eligibility criteria later.
2. Age Limit

3. Marital Status
Only unmarried candidates are eligible. Marriage during the 4-year tenure will result in dismissal.
Selection Process
The recruitment process consists of two stages:
Stage I – INET 2025
- Exam Date: May 2025
- Exam Pattern:
- 100 MCQs (English, Science, Mathematics, General Awareness).
- Duration: 1 hour.
- Negative Marking: 0.25 marks deducted for each wrong answer.
- Application Fee: ₹550 + 18% GST.
Stage II – Physical Fitness Test (PFT), Written Exam, and Medical Examination
- PFT: Candidates must qualify in a 1.6 km run, squats, push-ups, and bent-knee sit-ups.
- Written Exam: 100 MCQs (similar to Stage I).
- Medical Examination: Candidates must meet the prescribed medical standards.
Training and Service
